Provision of Grace World Mission Church, formerly known as Provision of Grace Full Gospel Church was founded on June 20, 1999, as a non-denominational, five-fold ministry church; under the leadership of Reverend Tony Pritchette, Pastor and the Assistant Pastor, the late Reverend Janis Wright.
Provision of Grace held its first service at the YMCA with over 100 people in attendance and on that same day 35 people joined the church. After 2 months of holding services at the YMCA, the church relocated to Reverend Leon Sullivan’s Progress Plaza Multi-Purpose Room where we stayed for one year while growing in Evangelistic and Discipleship outreach. After moving to two other locations for a brief period, the church sought the Lord for a place where they could lay roots. In 2002, Provision of Grace moved to its current location, 1950 W. Rockland Street. Following some much needed construction and renovations we purchased the building and established our roots in 2008.
Our goal is to teach the importance of God’s principals with a sense of urgency and shared compassion for our community, both nationally and internationally. Our Church understands that each person in our community face distinct sets of circumstances that can hinder the realization of a healthy and rewarding life in this world. In response to such a reality, we have been taught by Pastor Tony to embrace and apply the scripture in Matt. 6:33, “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.” We are committed to a holistic approach to ministry: through the word of God, academics, healthy living and active community outreach.
Our passion is to fulfill the command in Matt. 28:19-20, “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always to the very end of the age.”
Through the provisions of God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, the Provision of Grace World Mission Church's mission is to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19) by teaching, preaching and living the Word of God. The commission will also be achieved by and through our commitment to a holistic approach to ministry through:
The word of God, academics, healthy lifestyle and active community outreach.
We will provide the spiritual landscape for a learning environment that gives rise to personal empowerment and encourages a legacy of community involvement through effective spiritual leadership that impacts our community and the world.
